Me llamo Maria Angeles Vázquez Carrasco y soy Doctor en Medicina por la universidad Complutense de Madrid

Desde siempre he compaginado mi profesión con mi interés por el arte y la pintura en especial.

Durante más de 20 años he estado viviendo en Viena (Austria) donde he pertenecido a la Ring Galerie y a la asociación de Médicos Pintores, realizando numerosas exposiciones tanto individuales como colectivas

A partir de mi regreso a España, aunque me concentre con mayor intensidad en mi labor como médico, no he dejado de seguir pintando, y en esta nueva etapa de mi vida puedo hacerlo con mayor asiduidad.

Comencé utilizando la espátula como medio de expresión y el motivo de mis cuadros se basaba fundamentalmente en casas, mejor de pueblo y especialmente en tejados llenos de chimeneas.

Con el tiempo he evolucionado hacia las composiciones paisajísticas, pintando con pincel y en ocasiones con una tendencia mas realista


My name is Maria Angeles Vázquez Carrasco and I am a Doctor of Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid

I have always combined my profession with my interest in art and painting in particular.

For more than 20 years I have been living in Vienna (Austria) where I have belonged to the Ring Galerie and the Association of Medical Painters, making numerous exhibitions both individual and collective

From my return to Spain, I concentrate more intensely on my work as a doctor, although I have not stopped painting, and in this new stage of my life I can do it with greater assiduity.

I started using the spatula as a means of expression and the reason for my paintings was based mainly on houses, specially in town and with roofs full of chimneys.

Over time I have evolved towards landscape compositions, painting with a brush and sometimes with a more realistic trend
